About The Grand Prix LVMH Scholarships
Since 2011, three students at the esteemed Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in London have received the LVMH Grand Prix Scholarships, a crucial launching pad for upcoming designers. The recipients have set out on impressive career paths.
The 2011-established LVMH Grand Prix Scholarships offer financial aid to Central Saint Martins BA Fashion students in their last year of study.
The scholarships allow them to devote all their attention to this crucial year by paying for their tuition and the costs of creating their collections.
Beyond financial assistance, LVMH’s acknowledgment of its potential opens doors to appealing prospects, particularly in LVMH Houses, constantly looking to cultivate and welcome new talents.
Previous winners have gone on to work as interns at Dior, Louis Vuitton, Céline, and other LVMH companies; some have stayed on to further their careers at the Houses. Jessica Mort awarded a scholarship in 2011, is a junior designer at Loewe.
After receiving a scholarship in 2012, Mao Usami started working for Louis Vuitton as an assistant designer for women’s leather goods.
