About the Aboitiz Scholarship
The Aboitiz scholarship 2024 is open to application. Aboitiz Equity Ventures, Inc. (AEV) believes that a wonderful education is a solid foundation on which to build exceptional leadership skills. AEV has launched an Aboitiz Scholarship program designed to help and motivate students to value, appreciate, and make the most of their education.
As part of their commitment to developing future talent and leaders to create a better world, the Aboitiz College Scholarship Program (ACSP) continues to provide financial support, holistic learning, experience, and information disclosure, as well as mentoring partnerships for students who are pursuing an undergraduate degree related to Accounting, Business/Management/Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, Communication and Social Sciences (Psychology, Economics and Political Science).
In collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd), they develop Special Science Elementary School (SSES) and Technical and Vocational Schools (TechVoc).
SSES is in line with the government’s demand for specialized young scientists/researchers among young students, with a solid scientific base considered one of the foundations of an advanced economy.
The SSES curriculum is a field of mathematics and science and offers a longer teaching time for science. Teachers are trained in specialized courses in mathematics and science. SSES students receive laboratories, science equipment and equipment, ICT-based learning resources, science, mathematics, English, and additional materials.
Tech-Voc offers an alternative solution to help about 80% of students who do not have funds for higher education. It will also support the government’s K to 12 programs by providing appropriate skills for a job or part-time work to support future studies.
In addition to newly built or renovated workshop rooms, Tech Voc students receive reference books, tools, and materials. Tech Voc teachers receive training to earn NCII certification.
