How difficult will it be for me to be accepted into the university of Maimi? Although it can be highly competitive, I tell you, it is not too difficult.

Currently, the University of Miami had an acceptance rate of 32%. For every 100 students who applied, 32 students were admitted, making UM’s admissions process highly competitive.

For instance, last year, 11,021 out of 34,281 applicants were admitted making Miami a highly competitive school to get into with a lesser chance of acceptance for qualifying applicants.

Academically, the university admission test scores are very high compared to other higher institutions in the country. Generally, students who have an A are automatically accepted.

The University of Miami typically requires applicants to be in the top 18 percent of SAT test-takers. However, the school consistently takes SAT composite scores down to 1250 on a 1600 scale, below which admission should be considered a reach.

Basically, the University of Miami has a total student enrollment of 17,331, which encompasses 11, 117 undergraduates and 6, 214 graduates enrolled, with a gender distribution of 47 percent male students and 53 percent female students.

Note, about 38% of the students live on-campus, while 62% of students live off campus. Also, among the students living on-campus, 2500 students are involved in nearly 30 fraternities and sororities.
