Conducting your Class
You can send an email to the entire class with your weekly lesson attached. If the instructions are brief enough, you can include them in the email body (for example, “this week read Chapter 10 and email me your paper at the end of the week”).
Ensure to notify students when you add new materials to a shared resource (such as Google Drive).
Students can email you directly with questions, but due to privacy concerns, they cannot do so as easily with other students. In general, never give another student another student’s email address without permission. The email addresses should be in the BCC line.
Students can submit assignments as email attachments.
Keep a record of everything!
- Keep meticulous records of all correspondence with students! (Never take anything away!)
- Keep all of the temporary materials you used so that if you disagree with a student, later on, you will have the resources you need to demonstrate how you ran the class.
Conclusion
Palomar student email has many advantages that have been highlighted in this article. Read all about it and ask questions if you desire.
