- High school certificate/ diploma, scientific stream (You’re eligible for admission to all programs).

- Other streams’ certificates can be accepted according to the available programs (if obtained abroad, you need to demonstrate that it qualifies them for admission at a university in the state where issued.
- You must hold a Jordanian Secondary School Certificate or “official” equivalent.
- Students’ average at (CCD) must be at least good or less than (70%) for the engineering and pharmacy faculties, (and 68%) for the rest of the faculties.
- Suppose a student has obtained the (CCD) from abroad. In that case, they need to equalize a diploma from The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Jordan and pass the admission test placed by Al-Balqa Applied University.

The University of Jordan Transfer Application
It would help if you met the following criteria to transfer from a course previously studied in another institution to UJ.
- The course must be included in the study plan of the target (new) program, and the student must have passed the course.
- Grades of previously studied systems are not to be counted (only credit hours will be transferred)
- The number of credit hours of the transferred course must be equal to its similar to the new study plan.
- Transferred hours should be at most 45 hours for two years diploma programs and at most 55 hours for three years.
