Key Club Scholarships in USA | UPDATED

These key club Scholarships are designed and Obtained in the USA. The Scholarships are aimed at funding fees for High School Students.

Key Club International is a high school organization sponsored by Kiwanis International which assists Kiwanis in carrying out its mission to serve the children of the world.

The Key Club Scholarships was established by Redding Kiwanis to fund graduating seniors from Foothill, Enterprise, and Shasta High schools.

This scholarship is centered around the active service of the recipients to their schools and community. Applying students must be active, dues-paying members of their high school Key Club.

The Key Club scholarship recipients will be notified when their names are announced at the 2024 Key Club Education and Leadership Conference.

Also, all scholarships will be provided as cash awards in the form of a check sent directly to the college and/or the student in August.

Eligibility:

In order to apply for this scholarship, the interested student must be a Key Club member who meets the following criteria:

  • Has been an active Key Club member since 11th grade (with the exception of the G. Harold Martin Outstanding Club President Award) and is in good standing.
  • Completed volunteer work directed towards this project (If applying for the Governor’s Project scholarship).
  • Has paid dues and appears on Key Club International’s Membership Report.
  • Is a graduating high school senior (with the exception of the G. Harold Martin Outstanding Club President Award).
  • Is a college, university, technical, or vocational school-bound student.
  • Has a grade–point average of at least a “B” or the equivalent of a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Has attached an official high school transcript with an explanation of the grading system utilized.
  • Has attached an official document that explains the community service hours the applicant has received through Key Club.

Recipients of the 2024 Key Club Scholarships must complete and submit the Scholarship Recipient Information Form and the general application to the Scholarships Committee Chair Anna Langley at scholarships@floridakeyclub.org by February 10th, annually.

This scholarship is funded by the Kiwanis Club of Brooksville and will be awarded solely on merit to only one club president judged to be the most outstanding among all who meet the Distinguished Club President Award criteria.

6. The J. Walker Field Scholarship (Florida Kiwanis Foundation)

This scholarship will be awarded to select graduating senior Key Club members who exemplify the spirit of Kiwanis through their service and prove to strengthen their community in the future.

7. The George & Ann Langguth Scholarship (Florida Kiwanis Foundation)

This is a multi-year scholarship awarded to an immediate family member of a current Kiwanis Member who exemplifies Kiwanis’ value of service.

The recipient may be a high school senior or already in college, not limited to Florida colleges and universities.

8. Nancy M. Liddell Scholarship (Brock Communications Foundation)

This scholarship is especially for students having experience with neuromuscular diseases such as MS, lupus, and other similar diseases who show genuine use for this aid in achieving a higher education.

Application Type: Requires a 1500-word essay and a one-page maximum recommendation from an educator that speaks to readiness for college courses and workload.

9. Southern Housing Scholarship Foundation

Qualified students attending the Florida A&M University, Florida Gulf Coast University, Florida State University, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee Community College, and the University of Florida will be awarded scholarships in the form of rent-free housing to live in one of twenty-seven, furnished scholarship houses that are adjacent to their college campus.
