Kings College London Postgraduate Diploma Nursing Studentships

Application for the Kings College London Postgraduate Diploma Nursing Studentships is available for Postgraduate Diploma Nursing first-year entrants starting in 2024.

The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery at King’s College London is pleased to announce that five King’s studentships are available for its Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing with a registration program.

The scholarships are based on financial circumstances and academic standing and can be used to fund living expenses for students enrolling in September for the full length of the program.

Scholarship Worth

Each studentship is worth $6,603.31 and is paid over the two years of the course.

Successful candidates will receive $3,301.65 in each year of study, dependent upon satisfactory academic and clinical placement progression and receipt of occupational health and Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance by 4th September. Studentships will not cover periods of repeat or interrupted study.

Eligibility Requirements

They invite applications from students undertaking the 2-year Postgraduate Diploma (PG Dip) in Nursing who can provide evidence of financial need. In order to be eligible to apply, you must be a new home student for free, starting in September 2024.

In order to be eligible to apply, you should:

• be a full-time, home student;
•  be in good academic standing;
•  have a household income of $33,016.55 or less;
•  be starting your course in September;
•  receive occupational health and Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) clearance by 4th September.

When will the studentship be paid?

The full studentship is worth $6,603.31 in total. Successful candidates will receive $3,301.65 in each year of study, which will be split into two installments each.

The first installment will be released with notification of a successful application, and the second installment will be released in February, dependent upon continued attendance and satisfactory academic progress.

Studentships will not cover periods of repeat or interrupted study.

To apply, you should download the form, complete and return it to the Student Funding Office.

You will need to supply documentary evidence of your financial circumstances with your application as well as a personal statement. If these are not supplied, your application will not be considered.

Deadline For Kings College London Postgraduate Diploma Nursing Studentships

The deadline for applications is June annually. After which further applications will not be considered.

When will I know the outcome of my application?

Provided your application form has been accurately completed, and the appropriate documentary evidence supplied, you will be notified of the decision by September 10.
