About the Sponsor: Women for Africa Foundation

The Women for Africa Foundation is a private entity founded in 2012 by the former vice president of the Government of Spain, María Teresa Fernández de la Vega, to contribute to the development of Africa through her women.

Since then, the Foundation has launched a dozen education, economic development, health, knowledge, and women empowerment projects.

Following the success of previous programs, the Women for Africa Foundation launches the third public edition of the African University Scholarship Program, Learn Africa, which has helped hundreds of students in Spanish universities.
