About The System Design Center Summer Internship
Systems Design Center Summer Internship 2024 is open to all students who are pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Science Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics from an ABET-accredited curriculum with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

As an intern, your key responsibilities are:
- Requirements development and maturation to include subsystem and component level.
- System architecture development and refinement in order to satisfy system performance and interface requirements.
- Performance of trade studies to identify the best solutions in developing the system, trading cost, schedule, and performance.
- Establishment of verification and validation techniques for requirements at all levels of indenture for complex systems, including the application of simulation, testing, analysis, and demonstration.

Systems Design Center Internship Eligibility:
To be eligible, applicants must:
- S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
- S. Citizenship is required. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Proven strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Basic Engineering skills and interest in how systems are developed and function
- Must currently have or be able to obtain a DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Qualifications for the Systems Design Center Internship :
- Matlab and/or C++ experience
- Modeling and Simulation experience
- Ability to analyze issues and define solutions
- Strong communication skills including effective written, verbal, and listening skills
- Self-starter with the ability to independently pursue information and solve problems
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to problem solve and seek out additional resources
