1. The University of Winnipeg Manitoba Graduate Scholarships (MGS), Canada
The University of Winnipeg and Manitoba entered into a large amount of agreement to support undergraduate studies focused on research and help attract and retain outstanding students in and out of the province. As a public university located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, it offers degrees in science, art, business and economics, science, education, and university education.
Nominations are open for Manitoba postgraduate scholarships (MSG) in 2024 from the University of Winnipeg, organized by the University of Winnipeg.

2. Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Doctoral Fellowships for Innovative Researchers
The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation is a local and international scholarship for PhD students from the Congo. Each year, up to five students are appointed by this foundation.
Level/Field of Study: Ph.D. Program
Eligible Nationalities: Congo students, African students, and other international students are to reside in Canada until the end of their studies.
Scholarship Worth: The value of this scholarship is $150,000 for three years in doctoral research and networks. They also offer a price of $50,000 for African countries, including Congolese students. And an additional allocation of $25,000 which is used to cover the costs of participation in Foundation events.

3. Gordon Signy Fellowship 2022
The Gordon Signy Scholarship aims to promote public safety and public health by promoting the development of anatomical and clinical pathology in all its aspects, especially in developing countries.
The purpose of the scholarship is to give pathologists the opportunity to study in countries other than their own and return to their country of origin with new skills to help their patients.
Level/Field of Study: Undergraduate Program
Eligible Nationalities: Scholarships are available to students around the world.
Scholarship Worth: The scholarship grants a grant of US $5,000 payable in two installments, the first US $4,500 at the beginning of the study period and the US $500 upon receiving reports of their experiences.

4. Sigma Xi Grants-In-Aid of Research
The Sigma Xi Research Scholarship Program (GIAR) offers undergraduate and graduate students a rewarding educational experience since 1922. By fostering close working relationships between students and mentors, the program promotes excellence and scientific success through learning practically.

5. The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation
The Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation was established in 1955 by Charles Glass Greenshields, Q.C., a distinguished lawyer and amateur artist from Montreal.
Greenshields firmly believed that discipline, hard work, and serious training in traditional artistic expression were essential to the artist’s growth and development.
His determination to help young artists and students dedicated to mastering traditional techniques and skills in painting and sculpture has led him to establish and create a foundation for this purpose.

6. Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Scholarship Program
Through the Ritchie-Jennings Memorial Fellowship, the ACFE Foundation supports the education of students interested in a career in fraud review. The scholarship offers students the opportunity to advance their professional careers in education and fight against fraud. Many of these outstanding and deserving students become approved examiners for fraud.

7. Humber International Entrance Scholarships
Humber offers partially renewable education scholarships for new international undergraduate students who begin their courses in September 2024 and January 2024.
The scholarships are distributed every year in our three semesters (winter, summer, autumn). Applications will be reviewed based on academic, community participation, reference letters, and expressions of interest.
Level/Field of Study: Undergraduate programs offered at the College
Eligible Nationalities: Humber International Entrance Scholarships are available for Congolese students and International Students. It is held at Humber College in Toronto, Canada.
Scholarship Worth: Seven (7) scholarships of $5,000 and two (2) scholarships of $3,000 are available in September 2024, while three (3) scholarships of $5,000 and one scholarship of $3,000 will be available in January of 2024. The scholarships will be assigned to the enrolment rates of the selected students.

11. University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships
The University of Manitoba Graduate Scholarships (UMGF) are merit-based scholarships that are available to students of all nationalities who are willing to enroll as full-time graduate students (Masters or Ph.D. from the University of Manitoba.

FAQs Scholarships for Congolese to study in Canada
For you to be considered for the scholarship, you will have to:
1. be enrolled in a graduate program at the master’s or doctoral level;
2. be registered in full-time studies for 2 or more terms (21 to 52 weeks in total) for the academic of application;
3. be on a valid study permit; and.
4. attend a participating Ontario school.
In fact, on average, 60% in graduation is considered the minimum requirement for most Canadian Universities. University of Manitoba has 55% requirement.
Honestly, Canada has some of the cheapest tuition fees for international students compared to other English speaking countries. Canada works out cheaper than studying in the USA and even cheaper than the UK and Australia. For undergraduate courses in Canada, tuition fees range from around $5,000 – $20,000 per year.
