#1. (ISC) ² Undergraduate Cybersecurity Scholarship

Award Amount: $5,000

Deadline: March annually.

Scholarship Description

Each recipient of this Undergraduate Scholarship receives an award amount from $1,000 to $5,000 for each recipient.

Applicants are mandated to be in pursuit of our plan to pursue a degree with a focus on cybersecurity, information assurance or related field, and be a senior student of the high school or undergraduate student. AGPA of at least 3.3 is required.

#2. B. Noel Endowed Scholarship

Award Amount; $2,000

Deadline: March annually.

Scholarship Description

This Scholarship is for senior students or graduates of Wood River senior, or current Central Community College-Grand Island or nursing students of Concordia University campus.

Applicants are mandated to attend CCC-Grand Island or Concordia University and be in possession of a 2.8 college GPA or 3.0 high school GPA.

Majors such as dental hygiene, nursing, and electrical technology will be given preference.

#3. AAAI (Allergy & Asthma Awareness Initiative)Inc. Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000

Deadline: May. The application opening date will be announced in summer 2024.

Scholarship Description

This scholarship is open to graduating seniors of high school who are legally residing in Essex County, MA. The candidates must be challenged by a food allergy, asthma, environmental allergy, EOE, FPIES, or Celiac Disease.

Aside from submitting the application, an essay is required from applicants. Seven concerned parents who had children in the Peabody Public School system founded AAAI Inc. in 2013.

This group became an official non-profit organization in 2015 and is now a community of over 300 children and adults.

#4. AAMI Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $3,000

Deadline: January 07 annually.

Awards Available: 7

Scholarship Description

This scholarship award will be given to seven students studying to become, health technology-specific engineering, including clinical engineering or biomedical equipment technicians.

Of the seven scholarships, one scholarship award will be given to an individual studying to become an engineer in health systems.

Applicants must be entering or current full-time college students who are in search of a career in the healthcare technology profession at an accredited college or university.

#5. ACF Andrew Piech Memorial Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,200

Deadline: June 2024. High School: Friday, April 17 | 5:00 PM MT College: Thursday, June 4 | 5:00 PM MT

The establishment of this Scholarship Fund came through Paula and Gerald Piech and was aimed at memorializing their son, Andrew.

Via this fund, assistance is provided to students in the field of automotive technology and related applied technologies.

Yearly, at least one scholarship is awarded to New Mexico graduating high school seniors and/or continuing college students.

Students must be in pursuit of a degree or certificate from a non-profit public, automotive or technical vocational institution including community college.

#6. AEF (Ascend Educational Fund) Scholarship

Award Amount: $20,000.

Deadline: February 5 annually.

Scholarship Description

This scholarship award is given to immigrant students and children of immigrants who are graduating from a New York City high school to attend public or private colleges and universities, regardless of ethnicity, immigration status or national origin.

Applicants must be given birth to outside the United States or have two parents born outside the U.S, must be a graduating senior at a high school in the boroughs of New York City and must enroll full-time at an accredited public or private college/university in the upcoming academic year.

#7. AEG Oakland Community Foundation Scholarship

Award Amount: $10,000

Deadline: May annually.

Scholarship Description

Through this scholarship, three graduating high school seniors or community college transfer students in Alameda County are provided with up to $10,000 in tuition and books.

There is a target by need-based scholarship students matriculating into a four-year college or university.

A paid summer internship to work at Oracle Arena and Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum during the summer will also be given to scholarship recipients.

#8. AG Bell College Scholarship Awards

Award amount: $5,000

Deadline: March, 2024. The scholarship is closed for now.

Scholarship Description

Several scholarships for full-time students who are deaf and hard of hearing and use Listening and Spoken Language, and who are in pursuit of a graduate degree or four-year undergraduate degree at an accredited mainstream college or university are awarded byThe Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell).

This scholarship program is merit-based and its selection procedure is extremely competitive. There is annual variation in the number and value of awards.

To be eligible, the applicant’s primary mode of communication must be spoken communication and his/her hearing loss must have been diagnosed before the fourth birthday of the applicant.

#9. Baylor University Baptist Scholarships

There are various scholarships available for undergraduate students who are active in a Baptist church, in pursuit of a career in the church or whose parent is a Baptist missionary or minister and includes: Baptist Minister’s Dependent Scholarship, Baptist Church Matching Scholarship, Baptist Missionaries’ Dependent Scholarship, to mention but a few.

#10. Allen Meyer Family Scholarship

Deadline: Varies

Scholarship Description

This scholarship program is aimed at providing full tuition assistance to students who can demonstrate moderate to the significant need for finance, who wish to pursue an outstanding, intellectually rigorous, secondary education at Parish Episcopal School.

Applicants are mandated to be new or current Parish students entering the 9th grade at Parish Episcopal School.

The demonstration of a moderate to significant financial need and inability to foot the bill of any private school tuition is required.

#11. American Atheists Chinn Scholarships

Award Amount: $500

Application Deadline: Submit the scholarship application form with your essay and supporting materials by 11:59 pm ET on April 15, for consideration.

Scholarship Description

American Atheists is proudly awarding two Chinn Scholarships for LGBT Atheist Activism. These scholarships give recognition to activism in the area of LGBT equality.

Applicants do not have to be members of the LGBT community for being in receipt of this scholarship hence, allies are encouraged to apply.

#12. Amish Descendant Scholarship

Scholarship Description

The purpose behind the establishment of the Amish Descendant Scholarship Fund (ADSF) was to provide financial assistance and support to those coming from an Amish upbringing who has taken up the decision to pursue higher education.

To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant will have grown up Amish and his/her family is still Amish.

Applicant must be in possession of a GED or high school diploma before applying and be able to provide proof of enrollment/acceptance into a community college or a university.

#13. Anchor Scholarship Foundation

Deadline: March. The second part closes on April 1, whereas the first part of the scholarship is still ongoing.

This scholarship is provided to eligible family members (children and spouses) of active duty, retired or honorably discharged Surface Navy personnel.

The basis on which recipients are selected is on four equally weighted criteria:

  • Academic performance
  • Extracurricular
  • Character
  • Financial need

#14. Barbara Odom-Wesley Spirit of Achievement Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,000

Deadline: February 14

Awards Available: 1

Scholarship Description

This scholarship is named in honor of Barbara Odom-Wesley; the chartering president of the Xi Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. It may be used at any two-year or four-year college or university.

Schools of trade, technical, and cosmetology are not eligible.

Scholarship applicants will be given a heavy evaluation on the basis of financial need and must be an African-American female high school senior currently attending classes in the Arlington and Tarrant County area. A GPA of at least 2.5 is also required.

This scholarship is open to all students and those planning on enrolling within 12 months. The determination of the winner will come via reviewing the best application and then contacted directly and announced on the Scholarship Winners page. One entry for each person is all that is necessary.

#16. Bernie Varnadore Scholarship Program

Award Amount: $1,250

Deadline: April, 2024

Awards Available: 11

Scholarship Description

The following is eligible to apply for this scholarship: Outstanding High School Seniors who have participated in a franchised Dixie Boys Baseball, Incorporated program and plan to pursue undergraduate studies at a college or university.

Applicants are mandated to write a 150-word essay in addition to completing the scholarship.

#17. Billy Smith Memorial Scholarship

Deadline: February, 2024

Scholarship Description

Billy was always helping people in any way that he could and this brought about the establishment of this scholarship. This scholarship is sport-related because it memorializes the activities Billy loved most.

Eligibility:

Applicant must

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be a resident of Winnebago, Boone, Ogle or Stephenson County
  • Have played a minimum of three years of baseball or softball in high school. This is to include the senior year.
  • Major in a sports-related field in college
  • Be in possession of a GPA of at least 3.0
