Developing Solutions Scholarship Benefits
The Masters’ Scholarships for African Students 2024 will feature a scholarship value that ranges from 100% tuition fee and50% tuition fee. This benefit will be made available to the students as part of the university’s support towards their postgraduate program.
Eligibility
You can apply for the Scholarships if:
- Are nationals of (or have permanent residence in) Africa, India, or one of the countries of the Community listed?
- are classified as students abroad for fees
- and have not studied outside their home country
- You are not currently studying on a Nottingham University campus or did not graduate from Nottingham University.
- You already have the offer to start a full-time master’s program, which includes MRes, in Nottingham for September 2024 in an area of study within Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science Faculty, and Social Sciences.
- Candidates who have not previously studied outside their country of origin are given priority. Students currently studying in the United Kingdom are not eligible to apply.
Selection Criteria
You will be asked questions about your achievements, curricula, and reasons for choosing the University.
Make sure you have enough time to prepare strong responses. We will evaluate your answers and academic merit when making scholarship decisions.
Scholarships will only be awarded to students who accept their offer to study with us. You do not need to respond to your offer before applying for this Scholarship.
If you are offered a scholarship and do not accept your offer, your Scholarship will be delivered to another applicant.
This award cannot be combined with another regional or sports scholarship from the University of Nottingham. However, you can also receive a scholarship or award from your country, where the combined total does not exceed 100% of the tuition fees.
This could include, for example, an award from the Nottingham University School of Business and the government or other funding agencies in your country.
How to apply for the Scholarship
You must have applied and received an offer to study for a full-time master’s degree (excluding MRes) before applying for this Scholarship. Search for courses and find out how to use them.
