The annual value of each scholarship is up to $3000 which is received as a tuition waiver for the student. The scholarship is offered annually as funds allow.
The maximum duration of the scholarship is the minimum number of years required to graduate in the degree in which the applicant enrolled.
The tenure of the scholarship is usually only one year, but the beneficiaries may reapply in the next few years.
Eligibility for Allan Kay Undergraduate Memorial Scholarship
To be qualified, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be enrolled full time at Massey University to get a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or horticulture
- claimants must be residents born in New Zealand
- Applicants must not be over 30 years in the year in which the scholarship is initially assigned.
