Strathclyde Prestige Award for Excellence in Creative Writing 

The University of Strathclyde is glad to announce its acceptance of applications for the Strathclyde Prestige Award for Excellence in Creative Writing 2024. The award is open to applicants available to commence their academic studies in the UK by the start of the academic year in September 2024.

To honor academic excellence, the Strathclyde Prestige Award for Excellence in Creative Writing offers international students a merit-based scholarship of £5,000 for entry onto the full-time MLitt in Creative Writing.

Strathclyde Prestige Award Eligibility

To apply for this scholarship, the student must:

  • be available to begin university studies in the United Kingdom at the beginning of the academic year in September 2024.
  • Hold a first degree at first-class or upper second-class honour or, or equivalent.
  • Hold an academic offer to study MLitt Creative Writing
  • Provide a 300-word essay demonstrating their ability to contribute to the field of Creative Writing
