Uniquely some of these programs enable them to transfer to a four-year college or university.

Some of the Programs offered include Dental Assisting, Air Conditioning Repair, Automotive Technology, Child Development, Construction, Public Safety, Zoo Animal Technology, Information Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Aviation Safety and Nursing.

Scholarships

Santa Fe Community College Scholarships are obtainable for students with the concert and procedural expertise in any part of the stage arts, plus dance, music, musical theatre, official theatre, and all-purpose theatre performance. Students must retain a lowest GPA of 2.5 in assistant professor subject areas and essentially participate in a prim and proper test and/or presentation.

Career and Technical Education Scholarships

Under this platform, about 18 scholarships are awarded annually to students of who are currently enrolled in Career and Technical Education programs. The Santa Fe Community College Scholarship is awarded for fall, spring, and summer terms. Tentative constrained term awards will be calculated using a fixed cost per credit hour to be determined each year by December 1 for the following year.

Scholarships will be reviewed often to verify prolonged eligibility. Applications are accepted yearly. The number of credit hours that may be roofed is 12 hours for drop and elasticity terminology and six belief hours for the summer term. These opportunities are intended to cover in-state tuition for up to 12 credits hours for fall and for spring terms and six credit hours for a summer term.

Santa Fe Community College Scholarship award does NOT cover books or lab fees which remain the student’s responsibility. The scholarship Awards are intended to cover in-state tuition for up to 12 credits hours for fall and spring terms and six credit hours for a summer term.

Eligibility Requirements

Students have to go through the next constraint in contract to be careful about the Career and nominal Scholarship:

  • Currently enrolled in Career and official learning pursuing a certificate or AS degree
  • Have at slightest a 3.0 GPA at Santa Fe College
  • Demonstrate monetary need
  • Provide communication of leg from a CTE series Director, Coordinator, Advisor, or coach demonstrating the applicant’s mastery of the background in the enrolled CTE program.

Students who receive the Career scholarship must:

  • Have got to retain a 3.0 cumulative GPA for renewal; This scholarship will be reviewed both names to verify chronic eligibility.
  • The academic transcript must be forwarded to the Office of Career and Technical Education Scholarship Vv3000 NW 83 Boulevard (I-34), Gainesville, FL 32606.
  • Grant inscription will be emailed to students who are preferred to pick up a learning grant from the responsibility of Career and official teaching confirming the conferring of a CTE learning and the grant period.

How to Apply

You’d have to complete the CTE Scholarship Application and send it to the Office of Career and Technical Education Scholarship Committee, 3000 NW 83 Street, I-34, Gainesville, FL 32606.

Applications are accepted yearly, and those received after each semester deadline will be held for the following term.

Southern Scholarship Foundation

This is one of the scholarships that cover students housing fees, it covers the student’s accommodation no matter how extreme the financial intensity is.

Southern Scholarship Foundation currently has 27, and more houses in the state of Florida. Of their 27 homes, 17 are located in Tallahassee, 9 in Gainesville, and 1 in Fort Myers.

These homes can be offered to students free of charge and save them the dollars they would have spent paying for accommodation. An average student knows how important accommodation is and how not having a place to rest your head during your course of learning can affect your performance academically.

Also, applicants are advised not to miss the April 1st deadline to apply for Southern Scholarship Foundation! Because applications submitted after the deadline won’t be reviewed so don’t delay!

Residents of Florida pay an annual total price of $17,305 to attend Santa Fe College on a full-time basis. This fee is comprised of $1,872 for tuition, $783 for books and supplies and $691 for other fees.

And out of state residents are charged a total cost of $22,851 which is 32% higher than Florida residents but the tuition charge is $7,418 while books and supplies are $783 and other fees come in at $691.
