#5. University of Eastern Finland Scholarships for International Students
This Finnish scholarship is a generous scholarship scheme that can cover the tuition fee either in full or part is offered to those students who are required to pay tuition. It is awarded on the basis of the student’s academic achievements.
The scholarship is personal and it is awarded for two academic years. The scholarship awarded for the second year is however conditional and tied to the progress of the student’s studies.

#6. University of Oulu Masters Scholarships for International Students
The University of Oulu, Finland Scholarships are provided to academically talented international students. The Finland scholarships are aimed at students studying for a Master’s degree in the University of Oulu two-year international Master’s program. The scholarship is for one academic year and covers the full international tuition fee.
Host/Eligible Nationality:
Hosted and taken the University of Oulu, Finland. Students from Comoros are eligible to apply. Other international students are also eligible to apply.

#7. International Gender Equality Prize
The call for proposals for the International Gender Equality Prize is now open to the public. The prize, which will be awarded for the second time in autumn, can go to a person or organisation working to promote gender equality in an internationally significant way.

#8. Finland Government Scholarships for International Students (EUR 1500 monthly allowance)
The Finland Government scholarships are offered for a period of 3-9 months for Doctoral level studies and research at Finnish universities or public research institutes.

Aalto University School of Engineering is offering Four-Year Doctoral Candidate Positions in Multidisciplinary Passenger Ship Design in Finland. The expected duration of doctoral studies is four years, but a contract is at first made for one year, and the extension depends on the candidate’s advancement in her/his studies and research.

Orion is a globally operating Finnish pharmaceutical company – a builder of well-being. Orion develops, manufactures, and markets human and veterinary pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

Host/Eligible Nationality:
This scholarship is organized in Finland and is available for masters and doctoral studies for course work or research in any of the Rotary fields that are Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, Maternal and Child Health, Water and Sanitation, Economic Development and community Basic education and literacy and prevention and treatment of diseases.
It is available throughout the duration of the courses. The scholarship can be used in any country.

The Finland scholarships are aimed at students studying for a Master’s degree in the University of Oulu two-year international Master’s programs. In order to retain the scholarship in the following year of study, a student must have completed 55 ECTS by the end of the previous academic year.
Yes. You can study in Finland for free for international students.
Bachelor’s and Doctoral level programmes -as well as many Master’s level programmes- do not charge any tuition fees, regardless of your nationality.
This also applies to the international degree students and to exchange and visiting students as well. However, some Master’s programmes may charge tuition fees from non-EU/EEA students.
