SJE Scholarship Portal is a state-level online portal for the students of Rajasthan that gives them access to the scholarship schemes offered by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Rajasthan.

About the Sponsor of the SJE Scholarship

The Scholarship is provided by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department (SJE) of the Government of Rajasthan.

However, the department provides various scholarship programs for the socio-economic welfare and development of people belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Backward Classes (EBC), Special Backward Classes (SBC), specially-abled, aged citizens and women.

Furthermore, to stay in line with its objective, the department has launched its online portal – SJE, for the residents of Rajasthan. The portal carries every whereabout regarding the schemes run by the state government.

What is SJE Scholarship Portal all about?

The SJE Scholarship portal is a portal designed basically to provide information on all the scholarships including an online application system for paperless applications.

The primary aim of the Rajasthan Government is to encourage students to pursue higher education and educate meritorious, underprivileged and deserving students.

But, now the government is reaching lower-middle-class families and providing financial assistance for higher education. The government also covers lots of the students in various scholarship schemes from 250 colleges, 55000 primaries, 7400 secondary schools, and 9 universities.

What Are SJE Scholarships?

The SJE Scholarship program is one of the finest and most helpful programs for all the interested students who want to study more and more.

Also, it is best for students who have a financial challenges, or that come from a lower-class families.

Basically, it provides financial support for candidates to further their education.

Note, Most of the scholarships are awarded on merit based on academic achievement or on a combination of academics and a special talent, trait, or interest.

#1. Post-Matric & CM Scholarship, Rajasthan

Post-Matric & CM Scholarship is for students who are studying in Class 11 or 12 and who also belong to SC/ST/OBC/EBC/SBC/DNT. Note, that they should apply for this scheme within the given time period. It covers maintenance allowance and fees for higher studies.

Eligibility

  • Category Name: SC/ST/OBC/SBC/EBC/DNT
  • Class: class 11 or 12
  • Family Income:
    • Rs.2,50,000 (for SC/ST/SBC candidates),
    • Rs.1,00,000 (for OBC/EBC candidates),
    • Rs. 2,00,000 (for DNT candidates) and
    • Rs. 5,00,000 (for students studying at a nationalised institution).

#2. Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for EBC Students, Rajasthan

Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship is basically designed for students who belong to economically backward classes (EBC) and are studying at the post-secondary level.

The scholarship provides financial support for maintenance allowance, study tour charges, reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees, reader charges (for blind students), book allowance, and more.

  • Category: EBC category
  • Class: 11 to post-graduation
  • Family Income Below: 1 Lakh

#3. Post Matric Scholarship for SBC Students, Rajasthan

This SJE Scholarship is provided by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Government of Rajasthan. It is open for Students who are studying at the post-secondary level in class 11 to PG degree level.

However, the students must belong to SBC (Special Backward Class) category

This is suitable for the lower-middle-class family who has a dream to educate their child after 10th class.

  • Category: SBC category
  • Class: 11 to post-graduation (distance learning/correspondence)
  • Family Income Below: 1,08,000

#4. Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme

Students who need financial support for doctoral-level studies can apply for AISS Scholarship.

It applies to SC category students who take admission into Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science, and Anthropology courses at university/institution abroad.

Eligibility

  • Category: SC category
  • Class: postgraduate studies from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (admission to a Ph.D. program at a university overseas)
  • Class Stream: Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science, Anthropology
  • Age: Less than 35 years
  • Family Income Below: Rs.6 Lakh

#5. Chief Minister’s Higher Education Scholarship Scheme, Rajasthan

Students who need financial support for doctoral-level studies can apply for AISS Scholarship.

It is applicable to SC category students who take admission into Social Science, Public Administration, Law, Economics, Political Science, and Anthropology courses at university/institution abroad.

Eligibility

  • Class: Class 12th with minimum 60% marks (Must have listed under the merit list of 1 Lakh students)
  • Family Income: Below Rs.2,50,000
  • Bank Account: valid bank account in a nationalized bank

#6. Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program (RYVP)

Rajasthan Yuva Vikas Prerak Internship Program is been provided by the government of Rajasthan. It provides the same amount of rupees to graduated, post-graduated, or those contenders who are in the final year of study.

Candidates who are pursuing a Ph.D. work from a recognized university will get a monthly stipend of Rs.25,000 and a communication allowance of Rs.2,500 per month.

  • Age Limit: 18 to 35 Years

#7. Ambedkar International Scholarship Scheme for SC Students

Those students will get Rs.15000/- per month as financial help who take admission into a Ph.D. program.

Under this scheme, students will get 6 fellowships tenable for 3 years.

  • Class: postgraduate studies from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (admission to a Ph.D. program at a university in India)

SJE Scholarship online form Application Procedure

To Fill SJE Scholarship Online Form 2024 follow the procedure below:

  • Go to www.sje.rajasthan.gov.in which is the official website of the Social Justice and Empowerment Department and Click on the SIGN-UP/Register button.
  • Find and click on the REGISTRATION tab from the new page.
  • Choose Bhamashah, Aadhaar, Facebook, Google, or Twitter option which you want to use for New Registration.
  • Enter Bhamashah ID or Enrollment No, Enter Aadhaar ID/VID, or give access to Facebook, Google, or Twitter page.
  • Enter Valid User Name (Not Existing), Password, and Mobile Number. Press the REGISTER button.
  • You will get a message on display like “Registration Successful for SSOID: NILOZA.
  • It is strongly recommended to change the password at first login“.Click on the link sent through SMS on a registered mobile number for verification purposes.

SJE Scholarship Portal Apply Online

  • Now enter your Digital Identity (SSOID/Username) Password and CAPTCHA Code and press the log-in button.
  • Update your profile after logging in and change the password too.
  • Now find out the Scholarship section from the search button.
  • Choose any option out of three “How would you like to register yourself ?”
  • Choose Student and click on the Next button.
  • Fill up the complete application form and upload all necessary documents in a scanned format.
  • Save & Print the application for future use.

How Can I check SJE Scholarship Status?

To check your SJE Scholarship status online application quickly follow the following steps:

  • Enter your SSOID/UsernamePassword, and Captcha Code to log in to SJE Scholarship Portal.
  • Also, you can check the status from the dashboard.
  • Identify Application Status from the left side panel.
  • As you click on the link, it will redirect to the status section.
  • Select Application and Enter Application No.
  • Press the SHOW button. Check the status of your application.
