Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Folks already residing in Israel are not eligible to apply for a grant.
- Candidates must be in good health. All applicants selected for a Fulbright grant are required to submit a Medical History and Examination Report before their grants can be activated.
- Holders of Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees may apply for post-graduate student fellowships. Those still engaged in Bachelors’s degree studies at the time of application are qualified if they will complete their studies and receive their degrees prior to the planned commencement date of their fellowships.
- Applicants who have not earned a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent, but who have extensive professional study and/or experience in fields in which they desire to pursue a project, may be considered. In the creative and performing arts, four (4) years of professional study and/or experience meets the basic eligibility requirement.
- Prior conviction or current indictment for a felony may result in disqualification.

Applicants whose main language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.

How to Apply: The Post-Graduate Student Program is administered for the Department of State by the Institute of International Education (IIE). Details of the program and submission of applications can be found on the IIE website.
Candidates must submit their applications directly to the Institute of International Education (IIE). The final date for receipt of the applications by IIE will be on 6th October 2024.
Applicants presently enrolled as students at an institution of higher learning should submit their applications through their college/university. On-campus submission deadlines are usually in the first half of September.
