A lot of students have benefited from the free tuition offered in Finland. The government of Finland through the ministry of education funds university higher education in Finland.

Tuition fees are not charged for bachelor’s, doctorate, and several Master’s Programs. This is also the same for international degree students, visiting students, and exchange students.
There are instances though where some master programs may charge non-EU/EEA students tuition fees.
Universities have student unions that charge membership fees every term. This is compulsory for individuals studying for their bachelor’s or master’s degrees while it is not compulsory for individuals enrolled in doctoral programs as they may join if they choose to do so.
One important part of studying in Finland is determining how you will take care of yourself during your stay in the country.
You will need to make plans for covering expenses such as feeding, insurance, travel e.t.c. it is worth pointing out that financing yourself by working in Finland is not possible.
