About Lynn Merit Scholarship
Applicants must be incoming, admitted, first-year students who are enrolled full-time and have a high school GPA of 2.0 or above. SAT scores should be 920 or higher if submitted. The awards range in value from $7,000 to $19,000.
In accordance with maintaining the required GPA for the grant, the scholarships are renewable. The Lynn Merit Scholarship 2.0 cumulative GPA requirement is a requirement that is renewable.
This scholarship is available to freshmen accepted to Lynn for the academic year 2024–2024. The range of awards for new students approved for the 2024–2024 academic year is $7,000–$19,000.

- Work-Study: Watson selectively offers a work-study program for exceptional Watson Semester Incubator students with financial need. Work-Study Scholars work 10 hours per week with the Watson team and receive a $2,500 scholarship per semester to go towards their tuition.

Presidential Scholarship
Students who qualify for a Presidential Scholarship have proven their intellectual curiosity, dedication to volunteering, and desire to better their community. This merit-based scholarship pays for both tuition and room & board.
When the winner maintains a cumulative 3.0 grade point average (GPA) at Lynn University, this award is renewed each year.
Each year, Lynn gives out two Presidential Scholarships: one to a high school student in the United States and the other to a student studying overseas.
Eligibility
The following are the eligibility requirements for the Presidential Scholarship:
- Getting a Lynn University admissions offer by February 1st.
- Enrolling as a first-time, full-time undergraduate.
- Maintaining a high school GPA of 3.65 or better (on a 4.0 scale) if admission was based solely on performance on standardized tests.
- Maintaining a 3.50 or better (on a 4.0 scale) high school GPA if admission was based on standardized test results. A minimum ACT or SAT score of 20 or 1050 is needed.
- Students who apply for the Presidential Scholarship will be judged holistically, taking into account all of the application’s elements. Only those students who submitted their SAT or ACT scores with their application will have their test results taken into consideration.
How to Apply
Students will be required to answer three questions that further their character as part of the Presidential Scholarship application. Student submissions will also need to include a film outlining how they will benefit the Lynn community.
By February 15th, the Office of Admission will get in touch with applicants who meet the prerequisites to submit an application for the Presidential Scholarship. For consideration, students must turn in their application and video by March 15. By April 1, the scholarship winners will be informed.
Academic Achievement Scholarship
Applicants must be enrolled full-time currently, have completed at least two full semesters at Lynn, have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better, and have strong moral character.
No more than $5,000 can be given out each academic year. The first half of the reward will be paid out in September, and the second half will be paid out in February. Students with financial need will be given priority consideration. Students who are citizens or permanent residents of the United States are urged to complete the FAFSA.
Returning undergraduate day juniors and seniors will be given preference.

Only those students who are currently paying the standard undergraduate tuition at Lynn University are eligible.

- final sentence outlining how earning your particular degree will improve your work/life/career path
- The application period is now closed for the academic year of 23–24.
