Students at Utah Valley University often wonder how they can best finance their education. What students may not know is that UVU offers a number of scholarships to fund their education.

Utah Valley University Scholarships 2024
Some of these Utah Valley University scholarships are offered by the admissions department, while individual departments award others.
Here are some of the best scholarships for UVU students:
First-Year Academic Awards Grants for Utah
These scholarships are only open to students resident in Utah. To be considered, students must be admitted to the UVU by 1 February. All students applying to UVU before February 1 will automatically be considered for this scholarship.
The presidency level of this scholarship required high school students to have at least a pint of 3.9 and a score of at least 30 for the ACT.
This scholarship can be extended if students hold an average of 3.7 during their stay at UVU. The scholarship covers the full cost of participation in the UVU, including tuition and enrollment fees.
The lower levels of this scholarship (excellent, exceptional, and exemplary) are available to students who either score lower on the ACT or have lower ACT scores.
The value of these scholarships ranges from $2,000 to $4,000 a year.

Permanent Residency Scholarships in Utah
These scholarships are available to students residing at the UT who have completed at least 12 hours of coursework at the UVU.
Applicants must complete a separate application form for these scholarships. The application will start in mid-January, and students must submit the complete application by March 1.

Need-Based Scholarships
Students who demonstrate financial need can qualify for one of the many on-demand UVU Scholarships. In order to be eligible, students must complete a FAFSA application, submit their SAT or ACT exam results, and submit their university certificates.
The scholarship for cultural diversity is an example of a need-based award. This scholarship is open to students of different ethnic groups. The scholarship halves the tuition fees for one to two semesters, and students can apply again.
This scholarship requires a weighted average of 2.5 and is available only to UT residents. This scholarship is open to beginners and continuing students. All applicants must take part in an interview at the multicultural center.
