Boston Merit-Based Scholarships

MCPHS hopes to enroll students who have outstanding abilities, schooling promise, and a passion for healthcare. MCPHS recognizes that a college education is one of the most important investments a student will make in his/her lifetime.

To this end, the MCPHS merit award program helps put an MCPHS education within reach to qualified freshman applicants.

Every part of this award will give immunity to the MCPHS.  This award is based on academics and equal trial scores, and decisions are prepared without esteem to fiscal need.

In attendance is no independent request for these awards. Those who earn these scholarships are awarded at the time of admission.

Additionally, these scholarships are renewable every year and linger as the applicants maintain full-time enrollment and a specialized grade as required by the donor. These requirements vary based on the award.

Some of these scholarships are listed below:

Presidential Scholarship Award

  • Amount per Annum: $16,000
  • High school GPA of 3.6 or higher
  • SAT score mark of 1360 or higher or ACT composite of 31 or higher

Academic Achievement Award

  • Amount per Annum: $13,000
  • High school GPA of 3.4-3.59
  • SAT score mark of 1250-1350 or ACT composite of 28-30

University Merit Award

  • University merit award is worth $10,000 annually and the requirement is a GPA of 3.2-3.39 for High school.
  • SAT score mark of 1130-1240 or ACT composite of 25-27

MCPHS Special Recognition Scholarship

  • Amount per Annum: $2,000–$10,000

This platform Select candidates that show academic promise, extracurricular involvement, and experience in the healthcare field, either through volunteer work or employment.

Applicants who do not hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency in the U.S. are only eligible for this scholarship.

Healthcare Professions Scholarship

This scholarship is worth $8,000 annually and the requirement for it is a GPA of 2.8-3.19 for High school and SAT score mark of 1010-1120 or an ACT composite of 21-24

Transfer Scholarship   

  • This scholarship is worth $5,000–$8,000 annually.
