#2. BASIL L. KING FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS

DEADLINE: JUNE 30TH

Each year, the Basil L. King Foundation provides three scholarships to various residents of St. Lucia County, Florida, who are registered  I’m an institution in the United States at two accredited or four-year universities of medical sciences or health science.

Acquisition of a 3.0 is required, plans a career in the health sector, and has a financial need.

Along with the application, candidates must provide a copy of their driver’s license.  Show proof of enrollment in a medical school,  and also come with an official transcript.

#3. BILL AND MARY RUSSELL HEALTH CARE SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: JULY 1ST

The Heartland Foundation annually awards the Bill and Mary Russell Health Care Award to participating students who currently study full-time in an accredited undergraduate university, and in a health science program.

Candidates must complete at least 12 credits per semester, enroll in a US college or university, have experience with medical services, and submit at least two recommendation letters.

And, students should live in one of the official service areas in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, or central Iowa.

#4. CALIFORNIA ALLIED HEALTHCARE SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 11TH

The Allied Healthcare California Fellowship is awarded by the State Department of Health Plan Development (OSHPD) and is awarded up to $ 8,000 per year to students who are currently admitted to national health programs, medical laboratory methods, radiation therapy, and ultrasound diagnostics.

Candidates must register for at least six credits over a specified period of time and must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0, be a legal resident in California, and register for at least one semester. The beneficiary must provide direct assistance to a patient for 12 months in a facility located in California.

#5. CBCF GENERAL MILLS HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 28TH

Each year, the CBDF Foundation, in partnership with General Mills, offers scholarships to 46 African American students who are currently studying for an undergraduate or higher education in health care or the service industry, for up to $2,500.

Eligible candidates must attend an American full-time university, have a minimum grade point average of 2.75, live in a CBC member area, and demonstrate leadership in public health. Selection is based on student performance, participation in extracurricular activities, work experience, financial needs, and career goals.

#6. EDELMAN HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: MAY 15TH

Grace and Philippe Edelman scholarships earn the US $5,000 per year for an undergraduate degree in health sciences in honor of two Alaskan adventurers who have dedicated their lives to improving the health and well-being of Southeast Alaska residents.

Candidates must be accepted into an accredited institution of higher education in southeastern Alaska with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. #7. FREDERICK J. KRAUSE SCHOLARSHIP

DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 15TH

Frederick J. Krause, a member of the American Association for Health and Disability (AAHD), allocates $1,000 annually for undergraduate students with disabilities in pursuit of a degree in public health, health care, and health and disability.

Eligible applicants must register at a regular US-accredited institution and must be US citizens or legal residents and must support medical care to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities.

#8. GEORGE M. BURDITT SCHOLARSHIP AWARD

Since 1981, the scholarship,  George M. Burditt is awarded to AFDO medical students for $1,500 a year to build a career in improving all aspects of food safety, pharmaceuticals, or consumer products.

#10. INDIAN HEALTH SERVICE PRE-GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS

DEADLINE: MARCH 28TH

As part of the Indian Health Service (IHS), a kindergarten scholarship is paid to cover the full cost of education annually.

A $ 1,500 scholarship is available to help American Indians and Alaska students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in health.

To qualify, candidates must be recognized as members of a federal or state tribe and must attend medical or dental schools, be at least 18 years of age and maintain a GPA of at least 2.0. Completing a healthcare professional course for Indian society will make the person a leader, amongst Indians.

#11. IOKDS HEALTH CAREERS SCHOLARSHIP

The ICHDS Health Fellowship is designed to pay $1000 to undergraduates in an accredited educational institution in the United States or Canada, specializing in medical sciences in accordance with the international mandate of royal daughters and sons, and takes precedence over students in upper-undergraduate levels who specializes in pharmacy, specialized therapy, physiotherapy, medicine, dentistry, speech therapy, medical equipment, care, and others medical sciences.

#12. JUSTINE E. GRANNER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Justin E. Granger Scholarship, managed by the Iowa United Methodist Church Foundation (IUMF), is awarded $1,000 a year to ethnic minority students, who are enrolling in an accredited Iowa College, seeking a degree in public health, nursing, or other medical care-related degrees.

#13. KATHLEEN MCDERMOTT HEALTH SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP

The CIEE is awarding  Kathleen McDermott a $2,500 health sciences scholarship to US high-achieving students who want to continue their studies outside the US in public health, public health, and health care.

#14. NEHA/AAS SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 13TH

In entanglement with the America Academy of Sanitarians (AAS), the National Environmental Health Association (NEHA) has launched an annual $2,000 scholarship program to award undergraduate students with a degree ambition in health or healthcare studying in an institution accredited by the Environmental Health Accreditation Agency (EHAC).

Candidates must have at least a junior status level, must be enrolled in an institution in the United States, pursue careers in environmental sciences or health science-related disciplines, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0.

#15. NIH UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

DEADLINE: MARCH 9TH

The NIH scholarship program is offered to students from disadvantaged families who are seeking a degree in medicine in the field of biomedical, behavioral, or social studies, offering up to $20,000 per year for up to four years.

Candidates must be in the United States or reside in the United States and must attend a four-year full-time course in the United States, receive a total of 3.3 GPA, take the first 5% of the class, and have special financial needs.

#16. OXBOW ANIMAL HEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS

DEADLINE: MARCH 1ST

For high school seniors who are graduating and already undergraduate students, the Oxbow Animal Health Scholarships is something worth up to $1,000 each year, aimed to present to assist students prior to receiving a degree in animal health, nutrition, health science, pet food manufacturing, veterinary technology, etc.

#19. SIEMENS-ASCP HEALTHCARE DIAGNOSTICS SCHOLARSHIP

#25. KING’S DAUGHTERS HEALTH FOUNDATION HEALTH CAREER SCHOLARSHIP

$2,500

APRIL 01, 2024

A grant of $ 2,500 will be awarded in the first year. Use only for education, food, and shelter, books, and laboratories for students seeking a degree in health science.

The health fund will send $1250 directly to their chosen school at the beginning of each semester.

To qualify for a scholarship, you must maintain a minimum of 2.5 GPA from 12 credits per semester. The winner must provide a copy of the health fund contribution at the end of each semester in order to receive a second scholarship.

Applicants must be children of a full-time King  Daughters team member and enrolled in a school, seeking a degree in health care or related disciplines in Kentucky, Ohio or West Virginia.

You must successfully pass an average score of 2.50 GPA or higher.
