How to Apply for University of Tampa Scholarships

Complete the FAFSA. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid determines your eligibility for all federal, state and UT need-based aid programs. First-time applicants should complete the FAFSA as soon after Oct. 1 as possible for the following academic year.

  • Submit the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.gov. Remember to complete the signature requirements described in the instructions. Filing online is the best method for reducing errors and processing time. However, if you need a paper application, call (800) 4-FED-AID.
  • IMPORTANT: List UT, Tampa, FL, on your FAFSA so your information is sent directly to UT. The federal school code for UT is 001538. Estimate your income taxes if not completed yet.

Review your Student Aid Report (SAR).
