When the GRE scorecards are made, they take about two weeks to arrive. When you take the test, your Verbal and Quants score is given to you right away. But your AWA score is shown on your final scorecard which takes about 2 weeks and it must be through ETS during the application process.
You need to send your official scores from ETS to the universities. ETS takes anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks to send your official scores to the school. The university may also take a week or so to show that they have your score.
You see that’s a lot of time. So you could save yourself stress by starting on time.
When is the deadline for GRE tests?
Between November and December, there are a lot of important deadlines that you need to meet. So, you should have your scores ready and send them to the university before that date. It doesn’t matter if the deadline isn’t close yet. You can still be an early applicant!
Which GRE center should I write my exam?
After you decide when to take the GRE, you may not be able to get your preferred test center or preferred date. Especially during the application process, it can be hard to get a preferred center for a preferred date. That’s why you should make sure to book your test date and location well ahead of time.
